The fiddle bow design of our slicers is laminated from thin pieces of hardwood and bent to its shape. This design allows the serrated blade and cheese wire to be spring-loaded onto the bow, always staying tight for maximum performance. Our boards have a domed surface to assist in that performance.

These handcrafted bread slicers, cheese slicers, breadboards, and cheese boards are original designs by Fine Wine Caddy and are 100% handmade in our wood studio in Berea, Kentucky, USA. We use only high-quality woods, including maple and cherry, and we use safe food-grade mineral oil to preserve the wood.

Cheese Slicer and Cheese Board

This graceful cheese slicer and cheese cutting board with a unique cutting surface is the perfect complement to good cheese. You do not have the pick up and move the block of cheese for every slice cut. This set makes a perfect gift for cheese lovers.

Product Details.
It is simple; a wire cheese cutter will not cut through the cheese block on a flat surface. The wire flexes in the middle, not slicing the cheese all the way. Our simple board is crowned in the middle to accommodate the wire’s flexing, producing clean, complete cuts effortlessly. You have a choice of hard maple or cherry. The maple and cherry slicer always comes with a walnut handle with maple pegs.

The fiddle bow shape body is made from thin bent layers of select hardwoods giving it unbreakable strength and allowing the stainless steel wire to be spring-loaded, always remaining tight.

The board and slicer have a food-grade mineral oil finish. Care instructions are included with purchase.

Measurements
The cheese board is 4 3/8 wide, 8 1/2 long, and the slicer is 12 1/2″ long.
